The Stepping Stones to Work Program is an initiative designed to help individuals who have been involved with the justice system and are on Employment and Income Assistance (EIA) find employment. The program offers free certification's in CPR/First Aid, and Safe Food Handler's, Job Readiness workshops focus on resume/cover letter building, job search and interview preparation to ensure participants are equipped with the necessary tools and resources to find employment. By providing these certifications and practical skills, the program aims to enhance participants' employability in various industries.
With a focus on inclusivity and diversity, the Stepping Stones to Work Program creates a supportive learning environment where all individuals are valued and respected, regardless of their backgrounds or past experiences. The goal is to build confidence and self-esteem, empowering participants to pursue sustainable and fulfilling careers.
The program collaborates with community partners, employers, and support agencies to facilitate job placements for participants, matching their newfound skills with employer needs.
